Seriously, which replacement belt part #'s do I need?

Cool. Looking forward to having them on my truck. Also looking forward to when this forum starts sending me notification emails again. :hmmmm2: :dontknow:

Seriously, which replacement belt part #'s do I need?

I think when the dust settles this is the two belts I will have on-hand so it's good to hear that you're currently running them w/o issue. I feel better now about my orders. :crinklehair: Because I don't want an inferior belt. Too many stories of guys getting under 10k miles out of a stock...

Seriously, which replacement belt part #'s do I need?

I'm not getting email notifications of posts to threads I'm subscribed to. I just happen to have this open in a tab or I wouldn't have seen this post. Not sure what's up with that. I ordered the Goodyear Gatorback one. Assuming I have the right belts I'll have matching Gatorbacks for both...

Seriously, which replacement belt part #'s do I need?

I think I found a Gatorback replacement part # 4070834 It says it's 84" long and I think that's the same length as the OEM belt so I have a feeling this is the right one. It looks like the Gates part # is K070834 so I'm pretty sure these are the right #'s to replace the supercharger belt...

Seriously, which replacement belt part #'s do I need?

I'm curious because we had a debate about this like a year or so ago I think when I was trying to find out what the best replacement belt was for this rigs with a supercharger if you didn't want to use the factory option. I believe Gates makes a belt but not the racing belt, just their...

    TRD Supercharger Program Discontinued

+1 My truck was already fairly valuable on the secondary market (just finished #1 again for 5 year old vehicles and mine is a 2010 ) but seeing this means that the value would continue to hold steady. Too bad I'm not interested in selling it. :crinklehair:

    Discussing New Tacoma 2016 Powertrain

This configuration may not be ideal for supercharging but it is ideal for turbocharging. Our Optima is a GDi turbo 2.0L 4cyl and makes 274hp and gets 30mpg mixed driving like an asshole. On a trip out of state which consisted of about 500 miles to the city and three days driving around the...

Nearly New Factory Option Subwoofer for Access Cab or Pre-Runner OEM

**SOLD** Offered here is a nearly new factory option subwoofer that goes on the back wall between the jump seats in an Access Cab or pre-runner. Part #86150-04050. I had issues with the previous one that came with the truck so I took it into the dealership and they replaced it under warranty...

DeatschWerks 255lph vs Walbro 255lph? Anyone?

Why am I having such a difficult time finding info comparing fuel pumps directly? I've searched and I find info on 300lph pumps compared to 255lph pumps of different brands but nothing comparing apples to apples. I want DeatschWerks 255lph pump compared to Walbro's 255lph (high flow I assume)...

    Which Gauges Are You Running?

People should post pics too if they have them. Trying to see what my options are that look like they could be stock. Not looking for anything crazy blue or anything like that but maybe others are so pictures would be helpful and maybe what you like or dislike about them.

Let's Talk Supercharger Belts: Gates? Gatorback? Dayco Gold? Other?

No, I think we're all on the same page now. I thought he was getting hostile when nobody else had been to that point so I misread what he was saying but I think we're good to go and agree that all the info in one thread would be helpful and that's why I wanted to start it in the first place.

Installed 2.85" Stealth Pulley & No Difference in Performance?

Yes, never underestimate the power of stupidity and limited knowledge of engines. The point is I've heard of people blowing up lots of engine in lots of ways and the common denominator is stupidity. I promise you your buddy coulda done several things well in advance to prevent what happened...

Plenty of options to assure you don't run out of alky. It's been done in high HP applications for many years now and it's more trustworthy than you make it seem.

No need to get snarky. I misunderstood what he was saying since this thread was about the supercharger belt. Not a big deal. Calm down.

I'm confused. This entire topic is about the belt that would fit a 4.0L with a TRD supercharger. :dontknow:

Thanks but the gauges I was looking at were closer to stock looking.

Installed 2.85" Stealth Pulley & No Difference in Performance?

I disagree. I've been modifying forced induction vehicles for a couple of decades now at high elevation. I have an idea what this modification should have felt like and my ideas aren't inflated due to plenty of first-hand experience.

Installed 2.85" Stealth Pulley & No Difference in Performance?

I'll have to look back into adding a boost gauge as I back burnered that mod. I'm also going to replace the belt with something other than OEM with miles on it to see if that makes a difference. Elevation here (6,000ft give or take) sucks and is always working against me and I understand the...
