I just purchased a Radar Detector for the trip I will be making in couple of weeks.
I hate the coil wires that goes on the cigarette socket and would like to hard wire the Positive leads to any wires underneath the dash.
Does anyone know which wire would be the one that will run the power when Ignition is On?

Sorry for being lazy but have a lot to catch up at work before leaving so.... any info will be appreciated.

I know you wanted under the dash,
but I used the power under the overhead console.
Already pre-wired for the compass/temp gage.
I just put an external cig-socket in the compartment
in the overhead console.

I use it for my bluetooth speaker, but you could
plug whatever you want up there.

You can mount your RD up there for a clean look.

I have a V1 and I hid everything above the console.

That's sexy!
Figure modern day sunglass does not fit in the sunglass compartment, there are a lot of things you are able to do I guess.
Thanks to BSP06XRU I was able to get the job done in 10 min!
