Thanks for the kind words. Yeah she's heavy, and I can't lighten her up because I committed and bought the heavier load coils/leafs from OME. No saggy Taco ass here. Maybe some day I'll get on ExPo and hang out with all the other fat girls.

In the mean time, I've already been talking to Gadget about how to cram more air/fuel down her throat.

So how does she perform with 5500 lbs on her?

I have about the same weight on my SUV, and the same engine. You can really feel the heft of the truck even with a Supercharger.

Since it's a centrifugal blower, she wants to spin a bit to start making power. Being heavier just compounds that.

I'm a self employed communication/network tech. I wear a lot of hats and my truck loadout changes daily. The days when I can unload the bed and travel light are my favorite. Did you know diesel bros tend to road rage when a Tacoma walks them?

I love having a "useful" vehicle that's fast. All my other fast toys have been cars. But, this thing needs 400rwhp by springtime... and maybe I need to buy a spare motor to put on a stand. :laugh:



This is my rock toy. It's been sitting in the shop neglected for several months now... She's also kinda chunky.
