Finally, the 1GR block is sleeved.

NICE! About time huh? What are your expected post results with the 91?

I would imagine that it will still be WAY more than any other commercial supercharger kit for this application!!

About time is right! Good god! I have been waiting a long time to see this come to fruition. Head studs and Cometic gaskets, with the rest of your components, and that mother will be capable of some serious power! Big boost time now. Woot!

I just asked about costs.

Retail pricing:

Sleeves for the 1GR is $1325

Labor if you have Darton machine your block and install the sleeves is $1175

I have a shop on the East Coast that can do the install as well. They mostly do Nissan and the GT-R. No idea what they charge, but you can call them, they are AAM Competition in Annapolis Junction MD

Now here is the news I did not expect. They made URD a W/D for their line so I might be able to get you better pricing on the parts if you are interested. They also carry Cometic Gaskets so keep that in mind.

so bare minimum:

Sleeves + machining: 1325 + 1175 = $2500

(checks TTC)

Forged Billet JE Pistons - 2455
Performace I beams - 1090
= $3545

-------------------
$6045

what else am I missing for internals?

oh... and of course a built Transmission + adapter ~$4500

---

and is it the same bore? still 4.0?

LC Engineering has a better price for pistons than TTC as well as a higher quality piston. Plus they can square away the lower end and make sure all rotating parts are balanced, cheaper.

That Gadget is and awesome price! Well worth it for that cost. Glad I still have a spare block. Woot!

Well, if you want to get the sleeve work done, you can expect a nice hook up since you helped make it possible.
