Hello guys. I was doing my oil change today and I saw this seems to WHITE GREASY substance in the area where you place the funnel in order to put the new oil. I have attached a couple of pictures. Please let me know if you have any idea or experience on what this is. Thank you everyone.

Have you always done your own oil changes? Have you seen it there before? Looks like water and oil mixed or a white lithium grease.

It's moisture buildup. It's caused by short trips where the truck isn't brought up to full operating temp.

Have a lot of your recent trips been short?

I've had the same stuff several times. I've read that it's just moisture that gets into the oil because of temperature/humidity/seasonal changes and as others have mentioned, short trips without working the oil up to operating temperature. I wouldn't be too concerned over it.
