Friendly Competition
We (The Srt10 guys and the X Runner guys) have had 2 documented almost races. 1 on the street and 1 at the track. I want to promote the track racing aspect of it. I like the competition just like any of you guys. I don't want to see it on the street. Since we have had 2 failed attempts at a race either at the 1/4 or the road course I say we start this thread to put together some matches. I know you guys will probably win at the twisties but maybe not. Maybe we will win at the 1/4 but maybe not. Let's have fun with this and get a race going. Who has some suggestions? I know that XrunnIT and MoparConnection are in Austin Texas and will probably square off. But what I would really like to see is a road course event as well. Who has some ideas? Lets not make this a pissing match and make this a racing event.

I'm not dogging either vehicle, but I know a stock X-Runner, with just the TRD blower, can match a stock SRT-10 Ram. I've seen it done before.

Moved to Sanctioned Events (as this is where we need to promote any kind of racing). 
Lets not focus on the win or lose aspect of things. I personally can give a rat's ass if the truck is an S-10, Dakota, Ranger, Ram 10, etc, SPORT TRUCKS FTW!!!
There is always gonna be faster. Neither truck was built for the 1/4 mile, both were made for the track.. track event would be the best. Plus corners are out strong point..  |

I'm in Los Angeles CA so that will be a little too long of a drive for me. BTW I don't like the term Ricer. The Srt10's are probably less American than the X Runner. The Srt10 was built in Mexico and designed by a German company.

I'd gladly meet you guys where there is corners.... Cones, turns whatever.. Heck Ill even go to the drag strip to see how bad I get beat.. Like xrunnit said there is always someone faster.. If I could get some practicing in I bet I surprise you 10's..
