Clutch Pedal Squeak Noise TSB :top:

does any1 with a 2007 have this squeak noise?? I have an 2007 purchased in Feb and it has the squeaky noise. Kinda pissed.

yeah mine is late March of 07 and Drew's is November 06 (07 model). Both of ours do it pretty bad. I took this TSB to the dealer and he couldnt find it in his system.

Thats because he probably looked it up for '07 tacomas, and since it doesn't apply to them, it wont show up.

mine just started to squeak in the last 2 weeks. gotta take it in. how long does it take for them to fix it?

I have a 2005 x-runner can I print this off and slap it in the dealers face?? or do you still have to have some kind of warranty?

The repair is covered 3 years of 36k miles.

Mine is 5/'07 and the clutch pedal is annoying as hell.:argh:

my clutch pedal isnt squeaky, it pops. mine is an 07.

mines worse the hotter it gets got take it in soon how long can i expect to wait??

Dang guys, mine doesn't do that. My 07 just has a loud revving clutch, but this apparently is how the XR is. I'm not the only one that has the loud clutch.

The only time the clutch gave me any grief was when I failed to depress it well, and then decided to lazy shift into gear, barely putting the shifter in. I grinded my gears. So really it's not a clutch thing for me.

My truck seems to be tip top in reference to my clutch. Not squeeking.

However, I do notice something else, i'll post it in another thread.

I use Tri flow on the shaft. I do notice that the squeaking comes back when it gets very hot in the cab. The heat must expand the plastic. Once the weather cools down the squeaking stops. I add a few drops if I hear the slightist squeak. On CT someone had gotten theirs changed out(TSB) but the squeaking came back after a few months. :dontknow:

After i had the TSB's done on mine (like 25k miles ago) it never came back.
