Since Photobucket is blocking files now on 3rd party sites, just upload your sig using the Upload a File button while posting and it will be saved to XRU. Then you can grab the URL by right-clicking the image and choosing "Copy Image Address" (or similar) and pasting that URL in your profile.

I wouldn't worry about that anymore. With the responsive nature of the site, they'll scale down instead of forcing a horizontal scroll like on the vBulletin site.
