from my perspective,the mfg of the vehicle knows that trucks specs better than a shop that handles all makes= toyota for my money!:top:

thats very sterotypical. i can align my truck better than some one at yota will. They wont make it perfect theyll make it good. as far as a custom alignment just tell the shop what specs you want it to be aligned to. it is very easy to enter custom specs into an alignment machine.

There is a difference between a spec alignment, and a personal preference alignment. Most of the people on this board who lower their trucks, want a spec alignment, so they wont wear out their new tires. You work at a place that is designed for people who want to further their performance suspension by going beyond factory specs. That doesnt make you smarter than the next alignment tech.

You are correct these coils do settle, you will end up with a true 1.75" drop once they settle. I am sitting with a fender gap of just under 2"

Shane...I know you were asking for suggestions for what else people were looking for in a spring but personally i would like a milder drop. Something more in the true 1.5 range.

Anybody else feel this way? I think the milder drop may be a reason some people go the SOS route even with it being pricey.

am i crazy?

Well I just got my coils today. Now I'm not running the normal ones most everybody else is. The coils I got are rated at 850lbs per inch. :top:

I hope to have them put on by this weekend, then I'll let you know what I think. I've also got another autox event coming up on 4/12 so I'll really be able to see what kind of difference they make. :top:

The regular Sittin Sic coils are 775 ppi (15% stiffer then stock).

Nope! It is sitin true at -1.75" after close to 4 months.

Awesome I am glad everyone thinks so I put a lot of time into making sure I could get the best that was availible to me. This is the reason that leafs are taking so long, I am too picky.
