HVM 8k 55w race ballasts with nokya hyper yellow fogs 2500k. Pics are old, and I dont have a kick ass camera like some of these other guys....so this is as good as I got. :rockon:

The difference is almost double the lumen output.

Actually, they are a good deal brighter than the previous set Ive owned....of the same kelvin rating. I've also found that the 55w racing ballasts do wash out some of the blue color of the bulbs...They are still blue, but not quite as blue as a 35w set of 8k bulbs. Im very happy with my kit, and it these are what you truly want, you will be most pleased. :top:

its maybe like 20%brighter but note that your more prone to frying your wiring harness unless you make you own that taps its power from the battery itself and having a relay etc... but still i dont think its worth it 35w is more than enough

Every HVM kit comes with a relay harness, we do not use the stock wiring harness.

Every HID kit should come with a relay harness (even the 35W ones) for safety but a lot dont.

The difference in output is very large between 35W and 55W.

These aren't very good pictures (since the cars are blocking half of the light and its from behind) but trust me when I say a 55W fog and 55W headlight setup from us is BRIGHT!

yeah they're pretty nice, next best thing to HID's. had them on my XB and didnt have money for HID heads so i put them on till i have the cash. the pics don't do them justice, they have a purple hue to them like the 8K HID's have

Here is my set of HIDs on the xB.

They are both 55w kits. headlights are 6000k and the fogs are 3000k as you can see, they are retarded bright.

Here is a pic of the car looking straight at it and one to show the light cutoff that my projectors have and how far the light goes out. I was parked about 20ft away from the first set of pillars when i took the pics...
