Ketchup - PAINT COMPLETE!

Well folks, my body shop has kicked it into high gear.....now that my insurance finally paid them :laugh:.

They are working on the truck first, then the body pieces and the bed cover after that. It was supposed be done tomorrow.......but looks like it may be Friday. Im excited to see the final outcome. Stay tuned for updated photos.......:rockon:

Took these photo's at lunch. Went by this evening and they already had it in the booth painting it......so I couldn't get any pics.

The headlight because of the eyelids mainly. There really is no need too when you not changing the color of the truck. The paint behind the lights is likely not faded and wont be seen anyway......

they are. Its going to be paint RR with the stripes. No worries!

They only do that when they are changing the color of the truck. Not worried about it. Trust me.........Ive seen their work.

So are you gonna 3M the flares and front end to protect from future rock chips ? :top:

If you do, gotta wait 45days for the paint to cure / activate. I'd highly recommend it, what, with the X's track record for accumulating paint damage...

Same color or not thats pretty dumb to not take all that stuff off the truck. For example when you take the grill and stuff off you'll see the line where the new paint/clear is next to the old paint. I'm mean come on its not that hard to take it all off. I see it as them just being lazy.
