The re-design was pushed back this year in order to get the Tacomas pushed to dealers lots ASAP; because our Tacoma inventory has been dwindling down.

So looks like they're pretty much the same... right?

They should have came out with yellow as a color, not that Im a fan or anything but they came out with two reds. Black, Red, Blue, Yellow are sporty colors.....

Looks like it

You know... I'm thinking that the majority of the rock chips were caused by the Potenzas - not the design. Since I've switched to the KDW2's I haven't noticed NEARLY the amount of additional chipping as when I had the Potenzas. Was just noticing that while washing the truck before going to David's house last week.

J/K David, thanks for the behind the scenes Toyota updates :top:. As for the rock chip thing, maybe with them obviously recognizing the problem by adding the protection film as a standard feature for 2010, it could be a gateway for them to finally do something about our problem.

How about rear disc brakes? I'm thinking of upgrading to a 2010 but NOT if they still have rear drums:thumpdown: I mean jesus krist, you can get every cheap ask car in the world with rear disc but not a TACOMA.:hmmmm2:

im sure they didnt want to spend to much more on updates! just small things that shows they were updating!!! would be nice if they would fix fwe the things that alot of us have had probs with and end up costing us a lot! (tranny $ = $ civic) some our parts are costing the same as a whole nother car!
