Anybody know what this is?

It's a white tab, like plastic sticking out from the rim, I tried pulling it out but it won't move, it's definetely in between the rim and tire and could it be something to do with the Tire Pressure Monitor on the wheel.

See picture, I may take this to dealer and get them to check it out, since it's a new truck and under warranty. But I'd like to save time and find out for myself if possible.

TIA.

that's what I think it is.. there are 2 types of balance weights.. the stickon kind, usually goes in the "dish" of the rim. and that type, that are on the lip of the rim. leave it alone IMO.

no, their not balancing weights. its a sticker. the smallest weights are a quarter ounce (.25oz) any less than that and it wont show up on a balancer, what do you think that sticker weighs?

sticky weights dont go on the outside of the rim. first off their is no place to put it, second why when the rim uses toyota hammer on weights

Is it neon color by any chance?

Some manufacture put bright color sticker near the valve stem when the vehicle is delivered, reminding the dealership to check air pressure prior to delivering.

oh my god, no its not a wheel weight, you know how i know? i had one, pulled it off, and my tires balanced out fine. a sticker of that size will not effect balance. i worked at a tire shop i have previous experience

I never said stick on weights went on the outside.. RE-read my post..

and stop with the " omg" attitude ya jerkoff...

it's hard to tell in the pic.... stop being a douche canoe.

and BTW.. I wouldn't be bragging about your "experience" working in a tire shop... I balance rotors on HELICOPTERS..... ya dick.

I hate it when ppl act like you are in this thread. The O.P. had a question, we were TRYING TO HELP..

and after looking at the pic again, I agree, it's not a weight.

that is DEF not a weight...and even if it was I would pull it off cause its hanging on by a thread anyway..rather it not fly off and whack the truck..either way its not a weight and looks like a sticker..can see the dirt stuck to the back of the adhesive. Pull it off
