Well, we got our first piece of info from Toyota today...as of right now, there will be a 2011 XR.

Here is a screen shot of our 2011 model info (highlighted the XR info in red), as soon as I receive more updates, I will be sure to pass them on.

(BTW, it's showing that the only colors available for the 2011 XR are Black, SWB, and BR.)

Here is some more info regarding colors, options, etc...

I wasn't able to do regular screen shots like above^^^, so I had to scan them to my computer and upload them (hence the shitty quality:thumpdown:)--->

Is the 4.0 with the dual vvt-i still known as the 1GR? Possibilities of the new one having dual vvt-i?

Why would u want a destroked motor but dual vvt-i in it in our truck?? You would more like a small v8, with 4wheel disc brakes

I just saw a 1gr on a FJ cruiser and it had dual vvt-i It only gets more top end horsepower the torque is still the same. Yeah i dont think it will come with a 2gr, the 2gr has more horsepower but i think its too small.

I doubt they'll change the motor. They might put the Dual VVT-I motor that they put in the new FJ's, but if they do, that will be SHIETTY cause there's not supercharger for it. I don't think TRD will make one for it either.

URD is already working on a supercharger system for the new version of the 1GR.

how bout and isf engine swap?

If I were gonna spend that much money putting a V8 ISF motor in our trucks, I would go the 2JZ-GTE route. That's just me though. Toyota would never spend that much time and money to do such a thing anyways. Most likely you'll get the same motor as it is now, or get the Dual VVT-I motor.
