^^^posting ur issues with ur trans about the sleeve kit in URD's Group Buy thread isn't a good idea. There's other places for u to post ur problems.
Just a thought
Cool your jets dude!!!!! I warning people to make sure they check shit like the Clutch release fork BEFORE they put everything back together...I am not in any way trying to ruin this. I wish some one would have told me this before i did the TSK kit...
A bent fork wont apply even pressure on the TOB, causing uneven pressure on the input shaft...leading to excess ware on the input shaft...And you guessed it, SQUEAKING SOUNDS and chatter.
My guesstimate is the sound got louder on my truck because of the greater force needed to be over come, in order to move a stage 4 pressure plate, compared to a stocker. Even with the Sleeve making a new surface, the new bearing is still being moved with uneven pressure, causing it to ride on the surface, still unevenlly, and also outside of the grease channels built on the center of the TOB.
So, to all going through with this, do your self a favor, replace your clutch release fork while your down there...So you dont go through the same shit i am. This is a great product and i whole hearty believe in the quality and integrity of the TSK. :top: I hope nobody took my last post the wrong way...
