Scariest mod yet

I was working on doing a cheap and easy-ish mod, and noticed a spider web under the bumper (actually noticed a week ago when i washed the truck, but just left it there). So I take my fingers and pull a bunch of it down. Then I stick my head under there and see some more, so I take a few screwdrivers and round up the rest.

Well I get out from under the truck and notice a "dead bug" in the web, and begin picking at it with the screwdrivers to see what it was when BAM it wakes up

Thats the closest Ive come to dieing while moddind the X, well maybe thats an exaggeration but it still gave me the kreeps


Anyone want to try and guess the mod? I will post pics in the AM.

Also, can someone tell me if this is the thermometer for the overhead console, or is it just like a filler plug?

Thats the weird thing, my truck never sat for more then a few days maybe. Like park friday then drive on monday,

Im thinking of getting it cast in acrylic and made into a shift knob......anyone got a hook up on something like that?

Dont think I have seen a brown recluse up close, but yea that coulda been bad.

oh after having my nose was about 6in from this thing im done playing with it.

But with antivenin Im pretty sure the black widow is not that bad compared to brown recluse, and other stuff. And I dont think they are particularly aggressive.

Think Im gonna get a jar of alcohol for it tomorrow.

i think if it hada been awake and out in the middle of the web things woulda been alot different.

I honestly didnt think there was any chance that there would be a live spider housed in a daily driven truck

That would be sick getting it made into a shift ball like buddy did there. Yea we got those brown recluse spiders here to in ontario. But no one ever sees them. You usually have to stumble into them, like in a wood pile or the darkest deepest crevise somewhere. They stay away from humans, just bad luck or bad timing running into one... by accident. Have you seen what can happen to you with a bite from one of those puppies , friggen sick man. and all the stupid gay videos out there making fun of it.

I will pass on running into either one of these spiders. uck!

I wouldnt be playing with it too much either lol, accident happen. Watch you will wish you killed it when you cant find it anymore lol
