Here it is. I figure that with all of the modifications my truck has been through, that it was time for a build thread. When I purchased my truck in Feb. 06, I special ordered it with: SR5, 6 speed maunal, V6, Access Cab, 4x4, non TRD. Base ugly wheels and all. One month later I had the 6" lift installed.
I have always followed the moto: Form follows function. I will let the pics do the rest of the talking.

Getting my Map-Ecu2 "tuned" at PowerHouse Racing near Ft. Worth. STS's "pre-tuned" Unichip was a fail.

^^On that day, I still had stock headers and a stock Y-pipe.

First clutch. Got me past the worn out stock clutch. Still was slipping due to large tires, and lots of torque. Upgraded to the SPEC Stage 3+ with the Fidanza flywheel. Slipage countered.

Got the URD Y Pipe, and had Flex couplings installed, and one more in the "cat-back" as well. Also added the first V-band flange, to stop leaks.

Snorkel to help prevent another water fed motor. Installed it right after I got the truck back from the first built motor installed.

So out with the bad, and in with the good. This one had the lower end built by LC Engineering out of AZ. CP Pistons, the same rods from the last motor, Ported and Polished heads, Dual valve springs with Titanium retainers. I installed the heads and finished buttoning it all up for re-insertion.
CIMG2964.jpg

Added a few new goodies for the fresh motor :)

Fixed some more leaks with a V-band flange for each heaer. leak free Finally! I faught those leaks from day one of the "kit" install.

Also upgraded the blow off valve ( on the last motor) and re-routed some vacuum hoses.
CIMG2970.jpg

Most recently had to upgrade to a one piece drive shaft since toyota told me all of my u-joints were shot.

Ended up that they mis-diagnosed the rear problem. Don't know how they coudn't fee it whn the moved the truck??????

Not much more to post on that. Just a Innovate AFR gauge, that I am not pleased with. Stops working when I need it most. At WOT for long stretches...

And so the next phase began. With much help from my girlfriend Brittany (otherwise know as Motonxruchick184) and Grumpy.

I had to put the new set on, so that the truck wouldn't be at to much of an angle while uninstalling and reinstalling.

A close up of the new front tire. I approve!

The prototype suspension works. I actually wanted to put the OEM struts on first, but ran into a fitment issue on the passenger side where it would fit through the strut mount. So I was forced to install the Lowering coilovers.
IMAG0256.jpg

I had to re-adjust them after a few days, as I noticed that the ride height was to low and I was pretty much on the bumpstops. From the lowest thread I am at 2 1/2" inches of compression. Those are Eibach springs rated at 600 ppi. Most likely I will upgrade in the future to a set of Swift Springs, since those go as high as 700 and 750. What I used to mount these to the OEM strut mount was the strut mount adapter from my Procomp lift. Don't worry Jay.

All lowered down, but before I re-adjusted them
IMAG0258.jpg

Also, the sweet Carbon Fiber hood, compliments to Jay, in trade for my lift.
IMAG0257.jpg

We only had time to finish the front the second night, so this was how it stayed for the next few days, until we could take the lift off of the rear.

Also, I had to take the truck to PowerFab and have them re-weld the crossmember piece that had been removed during the lift install.
IMAG0262.jpg

Dropped it down to stock height until I could have the exhaust worked on so that I could put the rear lowering kit on. So then it looked like this.

And a good pic of the flip kit.

And the brakes.

Got a heck of a deal from TundraRacing.com Tom is a great guy there. Still have more to do, but priorities have to come first. (sorry Gadget, you know why I say that.)

There are a few other things I haven't listed, but these pics show the jist of it.

The next phase will be front mount, next year. Then I will be selling this custom rear mount. Good for 507 lbs/ft of wheel torque, on 35" mud tires at that.

Jay, I know I said I would start shipping out stuff this past week. Just been to busy getting these things all taken care of. Parts will start leaving this week.

hehe yea - google it man.

BTW - just curious how much $ have you thrown down on this MEGA build?

16k was my last estimate. That was two years ago......:rolleyez:

Still need to install the front drive shaft so that I can proudly wear the 4x4 flap. :crinklehair: I have a huch that most people won't believe it. Makes it almost seem ricer, unless they really know.

You are correct Blastap. You are correct.

I must also add that these 295/35 R20 INVO's stick like none other under boost. The Vredesteins up front hold the road in such a manner that only if you were driving, would you fully understand. Just cannot describe it!
