i heard good things about os giken from gadget. ill wait for a little while more and extend my xr's life

ive read in another forum that we might have to change the entire rear end and that the auto lsd light will be on all the time. abs malfunction and such will be encountered. :frown:

Haha, that's good bro. One hell of a family car haha. Stock putting close to 400hp :vroam:

if i had the same year xr as yours then i prolly would keep it. lucky you

I doesnt work well, not a real "posi"

It just uses the brakes. It will apply brake to one wheel or the other

There was someone with a 09 that put in a trutrack and had no problems.

I guess there's hope then. do you know who that person is?

you forgot to mention about all the heat the get generated from using the brakes like that and end up causing your brakes to fade badly

That does suck a bit. I suppose it could be worse though. If it becomes something I can't stand, I'll just look into swapping it out.

How much does this tru-trac thing cost?
I heard from my mechanic that changing LSD is PITA and cost a lot of labor hours?
What are the estimated cost you think you are going to spend on the swap?
