2012 Production Xrunners

[Xrunner Drifter]

2012 Tacomas and Tundras are rolling today.
The new Tacomas are badass
The new frontend includes hood, hood scoop, fenders, grille, headlamps, bumper, foglights. Xrunners have new mirrors with turn signals on the outside like 4runners.
Interior has black carpet, black center console, new steering wheels. Touch screen dash has hd radio, and sat. radio with aux and usb ports.
The roof has the shark fins found on Lexus.
Rear brakes are still drums.
The truck is still 6spd manual ONLY.
The 1GR is supposed to have more hp but also has more emission crap on it.
I don't like the new blue but the red is my new fav for the X.

Oh and yes, there is an backup camera with the touch screen HU.

Not yet bro, they are holding all new trucks in the yard and I don't have access to that area.

That is the new Xrunner. We built the first black one today.
And that is the new interior.
The TRD intake pic is an old pic in the motor.

Are they offering RR again? Maybe it just the pic. Do you know if the TRD S/C is still compatible? Might be time for me to move into a new one.....

That boxy front end is not really flowing with the rounded fender flares.

No, it's an BR in the pic. As far as I know the SC is still compatible......
I have to say the new frontend reminds me of an shark lol.

The new front end looks really good on the xrunner, but it really looks ugly on the reg. tacos.
I might have to go to the dealers and check one out. maybe come back with a new truck.. :rofl:

What about the suspension? Am I selling to the 2012 guys and gals or am I going to have to start over with R&D for these? I've "heard" that it's still the same but it would be nice to hear from someone that's actually involved with building the new ones.

The suspension is the same exact.
