Alright guys i got a crazy quote to fix this squeak! 800 bucks. But my question for you is i bought this truck 7 weeks ago as a certified pre owned. Granted its an 06 with 68k on it but is this something u think the certified pre owned 1 year 12,000 mile warranty should cover?

I would think it should be. I can not see how one could argue that the TO bearing is a "wear item". I don't know what's listed as non-covered items under your warranty but I would certainly look into it. Good luck and get it changed out sooner rather than later. My failed TO bearing created a domino effect which in turn took out the pressure plate, clutch, and flywheel. I was able to argue my way into replacement of all 4 items under warranty (Toyotacare Platinum).

Yes, for warranty work you should be provided a loaner.

Question...I forget what thread it was but one of the members here gave a suggestion about just turning (by hand) the rod that connects the clutch pedal to the do-hickey and the squeak goes away. I did this and it works. So every once in awhile I twist that clutch pedal rod and no squeaking. Should I have the dealer change upgrade, as per the TSB anyway?

You're talking about the clutch pedal squeak, not the TOB squeak

How loud or pronounced is this "rattle"? When I am sitting in a drivethru with a wall next to me I can hear a faint rattle when i let the clutch out. Wondering if I need to let the dealer take a look at it. Since I bought it used I have no clue whats been addressed or not.

Mine is a rattle. They are doing the fix this week after taking it in Friday morning. I am sitting at 57k miles so I am glad I took it in for inspection on this.

I have a squeek, I hope it isn't this, I thought it was a belt.. But it's not, it's the same pitch and frequency/speed whether I'm in neutral or doing 120km/hr does that sound familiar to you guys?

If the noise changes when you push the clutch in and release it, then it is coming from the release system or the transmission.
