NEWS A letter from John's parents

X-Runner Underground received a letter today from John's parents. I thought it was important that I share it with the entire XRU community.

Dearest XRU family

Words fall short of expressing how much we appreciate your thoughtfulness and compassion. Thank you for the beautiful floral arrangement and to those of who attended John's viewing. Many of you traveled great distances to celebrate John's life with us. Thank you for the ribbons you made in his honor. We will forever remember this thoughtful expression and acknowledgement of John's contributions to the XRU forum. Please know the outpouring of posts from your members on the XRU website continue to strengthen us through this difficult time in our lives. We love reading those posts. The XRU Family was an important part of John's life. Thank you for making him a part of yours - each and every one of you.

If anybody is still interested in a memorial decal we still have a few left. They are available in the XRU store, and all proceeds are going to a fund set up for John's daughters.

It breaks my heart to think that he is gone (but not forgotten).

Especially when reading the letters from friends and family on the Legacy guest book HERE.

My prayers and sympathies are still with them...

Hey Gadget if ya text me back I coulda told ya bout Nancy and the girlsNancy is doin ok,she's about 8 months along and everything is looking good so far with the baby.girls are good just miss their Daddy. We are all trying to fill void as best as we can. They live 4 blocks from me and in the same town as my parents. Anna is getting very good at ice skating, and izzy is looking more like her father by the day. My parents are the best
