2014 X-Runner - Canadian Version

So I was in my Toyota Dealership the other day and he told me that he and a select other few dealerships are going to be getting a limited run of 2014 X-Runners sometime this fall.

Not sure if anyone is looking for a new one or not but it might be worthy to put your name down for one early if you do want them.

Has anybody else heard of this rumour or is my dealership just blowing smoke up my a**?

Only thing I heard was some Toyota Dealers in Canada where looking to get some 2012 X-Runners, they'll be in short demand if they come

That's pure BS he's feeding you! Toyota Canada Inc. controls what New models of Toyota's are sold at Toyota Dealerships in Canada and they dropped the X-Runner after 2009 model year, as they felt it would compete with the New Scion lineup as 2010 was the first year for Scion in Canada. Dealers can only order what Toyota Canada Inc. makes available for them. And that most certainly wouldn't be a different model of Tacoma.

I Was just in the dealership last night (Im trading in my xrunner for a trd off road) And when they took out the X for the appraisal, the guy was telling me it is confirmed that the X-runner IS INDEED coming back to Canada for 2014. Odd that they are bringing it back for a single year. but word is there is going to be an X-runner successor.

Well. It is true. My brother works at dealer here in Ontario and he sent me this today.

He doesn't have any more details right now (I've told him to get more info) but xrunners WILL be available in Canada for 2014. He told me that the release date would be in march so we will have to wait for more details. Almost makes me wanna total my truck and get a new one. Lol


Also. 240 hp and 275 tq? Wonder if that's the new dual vvti motor. Or did they just change the #s??

This is cool to see that Hawaii isn't the only place you can get an X-Runner in '14. Maybe there's still a chance for the lower 48. :dontknow:

i was gonna mention this... apparently we got em down here in HI some guy jus picked up a "blue ribbon metallic" 14... never seen it in person but in his pics the color is definitely nice as fk
