what sucks is the guy who hit me has no license, no insurance, the car isn't even his and to make matters worse which is my fault i don't have full coverage i just got a promotion and times were getting a lil better but i have only the basic insurance so im pretty much screwed i don't know if tomorrow i can scrap what i can like parts since i have an idea its totaled my insurance says i shouldnt file a claim since its not my fault but i dont know what to do any ideas this is my first car accident

i guess the good thing is i came out ok considering i didnt wear my seat belt just a bruise on my left thigh cops and everybody were surprised saying i was very lucky even more that i got out all on my own but cops were able to get eyewitness that saw the whole thing happen

What....the...fart!?

Man that really sucks, hope they don't total it. I don't know why AZ just lets mofo's get away with driving around like that.

Step 1) get a good lawyer. DO NOT LISTEN TO INSURANCE COMPANIES. They are in the business of making money. Plain and simple. They are there to represent THEIR interests, NOT yours.

take care of yourself man - not your fault

had a vehicle that was writtten off due to a guy doing a left into us at an intersection.

If we didn't get a lawyer we would have been screwed over

Ouch!
Sorry to see that to any X, but yours was always one of my favorites.
Glad you're OK... even though you weren't wearing your seat belt!!!

Ah thats all sorts of screwed up... It's definitely a total loss. That's a hard hit especially to flip her over, our trucks aren't very tall so that took some force.

Since the guy doesn't have insurance and you don't have full coverage... Your only choice is to get an estimate for repairs (it will exceed the trucks value) and print out the Nada and KBB private party AND retail value. And sue the driver AND the owner of the car for a price between private and retail or the estimated repair cost (if it doesn't exceed the value)

It is in part the owners fault for letting an un licensed and un insured person drive their vehicle... And for misspelling Infiniti on the door (the car is a Infiniti)

O my lord, I am sorry for your XR, but at least you're alright. Take care of your self and try to sue the owner and the driver for what ever your Xrunner worth...Good luck.

Thank God your ok. It hurts to see things like this especially when you know the person, your X was a beautiful truck and really hope you can get this worked out in court and hopefully see you back in another X.

WOW, that looks like you went through one hell of a roller coaster ride there, glad to hear your ok.

Make sure you don't ignore any pains at all over the next few days, minor headaches etc could all be from the crash. The adrenaline going through you when you got hit will have you not feeling anything for hours sometimes even a day or two.

I hope you can sue the guy that hit you, like others said, talk to a lawyer, like insurance they are after their own interests, which is money, the more money they can get you, the more money they will make.

I would also see a doctor, and also go for "pain & suffering", not to mention emotional distress from the accident. Oh, throw in rental car fees until they pay for a replacement vehicle...which may take years. I would go after everything they own, as well as everything they'll eventually own until I had received proper compensation.

Uninsured drivers...gurrrrrrr!

Ok I'm confused. The frame- it looks straight on the side that got hit, but bent on the side that didn't.

^ I agree with this. It's better to take them to court then just call it a loss.
But on the other hand hope your ok and congratulations for not beating him senseless, I probably would have.

You really lived up to your screen name. You took a hit man. I see a spare tire that looks good. Is it to early for this?

That sucks. Can you shoot the drive in self defense ? 1 get lawyer, 2 take the driver to court, 3 take the owner to court, either one must own something. Make sure you get yourself check out.

As soon as I saw the car that hit you I figured they were uninsured. What a piece of crap. Sue them until they sell the 70 inch TV out of their government housing.

You're lucky to be alive dude. If the driver was this big a POS up to this point wait till you try and Sue him, he doesn't sound like the type that is going to be able to afford this. It will actually be more f - up if he can.
