Depending on the weather and how good a meet it is supposed to be, I'd be down for 6-8 hour.

Not just saying this cuz its about 5 minutes from my house.. BUT! Here in new orleans they just opened a state of the art Race track, comes complete with dyno testing, race fuel pumps, 2 full sized race tracks that will house nascar events and indy racing events. A professional gokart track with a mimicking track to ride professional 50mph+ rent-able gocarts. Plenty of nice hotels around.

And also, its only about 10 minutes away from new orleans and bourbon street! And its smack dab in the middle of the 2 coasts. So it wouldnt be so harsh on people who would want to come from cali and whatnot!

Wheres Deals gap??

Its a magical place in the middle of the Smoky Mountains full of sharp turns and amazing views :) Its also known as the Tail of the Dragon or route 129. More exactly its almost right on the Tennesee/ North Carolina border, about an hour and a half south of Knoxville. There are a bunch of other great routes around that area too.

Went there on the motorcycle this past year and loved it.

Never to early to start looking for the next X-Fest. Cherokee, NC area has lots to offer: Dragon's tail, Blue Ridge Parkway

I think we are about due for another beach meet, even if its a mini meet somewhere. VA beach, OCMD, or Myrtle are always fun. Maybe we could plan on invading another car meet like H2O in ocean city or something.
