So as long as the transmission is for a 98-02 Camaro it will work minus the tail shaft modification?

Is the T-56 Magnum, that you have listed, supposed to be a 5 speed?

Yes, it is a 6 Speed. The same one I am running in my own truck. It is the hot lick!!

You're welcome. Came across that yesterday, while using it for reference for the gearing. Figured it was just a typo.

I ordered a new Hurst shifter to try, versus the MGW. Hopefully it works out well. If it does, it will have a longer shifter arm and swept back. We'll see.

I am sure that is hooked up to the back up lights, so it should not be a problem.

Do you have to cut and balance the drive shaft? Or is this all bolt on ready to go?

Yes, you have to shorten the propeller shaft and install the included Yoke.

The advantage is a transmission that you can beat the snot out of and not grind gears. You can speed shift all day long. It is awesome!!

I waw afraid you were going to say that. My engine has good power that gets lost waiting to grab a gear. Do you have short shifters go with it? I imagine there are endless options with it, hurst, B&M. How does the shifter look coming through the vinyl cover, boot, I don't know what you call it? Do you have a pdf of the instructions? I need to talk to my local custom shop about doing it for me. It might be time to copy paste this and email it to URD.

I will have the instructions ready this weekend. Had them done, but had a PC issue so I get to do that over again.

The kit does not include a shifter. I use the F body one from MGW on mine and it works well.
