Finally done with buying a home so now I can finally after 5 years work on my x-runner. Hi guys I tried searching the forum but have no particular answers to the questions I have.I have about 3 questions for anyone who has experience with the urd tcai and maf. Also for the Cali guys and some smog questions.. Thank you.
I want to buy the urd tcai with the plug n play maf calibrator.
Question 1:
So on the website it says that if I buy them both together the maf calibrator will already be tuned and premaped to the tcai. Does that mean all I have to do is install it onto my truck? I don't have to hook the maf cal To my own computer and map it myself before I install it?????
Question 2:
I live in Cali and you know the smog test issues and carb. When I smog test I'll remove the tcai and put back on the stock intake. If I do that will I have to remove the plug n play maf cal Too? or can I leave it on the truck with the stock intake?? Also whether I leave it on the truck or remove it will I have to retune the truck computer when I put back my stock intake or will it just go back to stock readings on its own?
Question 3:
Oh and also if I buy the urd cat back exhaust will that fail my smog test or will it not since I'll still have the stock obdII cats on?
And if I buy all 3 products from urd website will the calibrator be pretuned for all 3 products?
Thank you very much. I just need clarification before I buy these products.
