Spec U Headers Installed...need more power
Anyone have any sound clips of N/A with spec-u headers and y-pipe - stock y-pipe back? kid - if you've got a goPro and keen on there being something wrong, maybe best to strap the goPro under the truck to the trans crossmember rather than in the cab. To me it sounds like the same sound I've got...- 4x4fiend

I've got similar sound under hard acceleration, it goes away once the system is warmed up though. I'm only running the headers to stock y-pipe and exhaust, so likely a matching y-pipe would help. I think of it as a reminder to not go hard on the engine till things are warmed up.- 4x4fiend

URD Spec-U and Full Exhaust with Sound Clip
I put mine in around November or so I think, install wasn't that bad. I ended up getting two passenger side headers, which was dealt with quickly and easily (and the weather held up until I finished which was a miracle :canada:) Dropping the drive shaft was really all I needed, getting at the...- 4x4fiend

Ah so it is possible to do it. I thought i read something about Toyota restricting access to the computer somehow (but my knowledge on that is limited) hopefully by the time urd does its thing the Canadian dollar will be worth something! Thanks for the quick reply- 4x4fiend
