Been a really long time since I posted. I just went and read all these old post. It’s been awhile. Since the last post. It’s lower now. Djm3/4 kit. And a t56 kit has been installed broke the t56 and need that fixed. Still can drive it but just can’t get over 60 it vibrates bad. Other than that...
No problem. I used the factory head gaskets once and turned out bad. Went with the arp studs and cometic and been good. I run 16psi of Boost at 6200 and it’s been holding up. I need to do my valve springs and valves and up the rpm more.
The arp head studs or the nuts that come with it does not get replaced. U only replace if you use factory style head bolts. I used .51 thickness head gaskets from cometic
ARP head studs don’t get replaced each time. The arp head bolts do. The studs do not. Cometic head gasket are the best for these engines. The felpro are multi layer gaskets but not as good as Cometic.
Did U make sure to get the 80lbs injectors instead of the 60lb that come with the kit originally. And if ur doing head gaskets, do cometic the first time and arp head studs Or you be back in it again later.
If u go with urd, get the the -91 it don’t cost any different but save u shit tons later if u wanna go bigger. I run the -92 but bought the kit with the -81 had to pay a lot to upgrade later on. Wish I had the 38r all ready. But to costly.
Everytime I had the p2238 code it’s either bad sensor or the ucon just thinks it is. Unplug and plug back in the oem plugin on the Ecu. Don’t undo the plugs that come off ucon into the oem ecu. Just the the oem plugs that’s pushed into the ucon. They wiggle and get loose. I have to do it once a...
