Wiring Viper 3203
The install for my 5901v took me 10 hours with alot of beer involved in between. a couple more weeks of trial and error on shorts. It's a hell of an install. Just pulling the module out the box makes you second-think trying to wire something like this up. Good luck, and double check...- X-Caliber

OEM NAV/DVD Unit
Does this unit use the factory harness? Or would you still need a harness adapter? If it uses the factory harness its just plug and play. Radio's are easy to install once you grasp the concept, tons of info online to guide you in the right direction :top:- X-Caliber

Tachometer question
As with any electronics going on your beloved truck, make sure your power line is on an igition switched source. As far as the backlight on it.. I would wire it up to the parking lights maybe?
