Got Ms. Stevenredx a TomTom One last year and I've been pretty impressed with it and it's pretty simple to operate too.

I say GARMIN. My Kenwood Double Din has Garmin built in and I love it!

Never get a Magellan. They suck!

I have owned over 8 GPS units ( I have a obsession)

Garmin is the best one you can get. I currently have the Garmin 200w, its a great GPS, only thing its lacking is verbal street names.

If your interested in a Magellen Roadmate, I have a new one id sale you for a good price. Bought it new, but im so used to GArmin software and mapware I dont like it.

garmin:top:

But you really need to go to store and play with them, to see which one works best for you.

Garmin.

I have heard TomTom's technical support is somewhat lacking.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 260. It works well.

The only thing that sucks is having to listen two (2) women talking while driving.

Garmin :top:. I have the Nuvi 200 and for a basic GPS system I think it's pretty good. It all depends on the features you want though. The Nuvi 200 does not have voice recognition or turn by turn STREET names, but these do not bother me.
