i'm sure this is not stock, it must have an exhaust system on it and no catalytic converters. dont read the comments under the vid and think its NOS. this aint fast and furious and just cause the little green eclispe blew up and was a blue flame dont mean anything. nitrous doesn't burn blue. dont believe that crap. i think its just high octane unleaded fuel and a crappy tune running terribly rich. it looks cool though

i understand how the flame thrower kits work but as you can see that all 4 tail pipes are throwin flames. the exhaust is hot enough to ignite the extra gasoline in the exhaust gas. since the engine is running rich there is unburned gasoline in the exhaust and the end of the taailpipe there is plenty of oxygen to allow the gasoline to burn and a high enough temperature to ignite the gasoline

Theoretically yes, but in real world, that's a far fetch. You can make flame thrower bit light up all 4 pipes.
It would have to be so rich that the engine start to bog and loose power, and flame would only shoot when you suddenly close the throttle at high rpm WOT condition. Even if that's happen, the flame would look like this instead of shooting straight out.

And third, it'll never burn blue. Thats way hotter then what conventional engine can achieve.

But I agree, it does look cool.

its also a rear engine car, the exhaust could be as short as 2 feet long after the header.

with such a powerfull high reving engine, I could see this happening.

my rx-7 shoots flames, but its only on shifts and off-throttle, mainly cuz its a rotary and runs rich ass hell.

but its always a big yellow explosion of flame, not that blue jets?

The Ferarri on Miami Vice did the same thing. I was actually watching it last night and wondering if it was a flame kit. It looks pretty bad ass.

that has to be a flame thrower kit, 2000 hp promods on N02 only shoot a purple flame about 8 inches from the header.
