Alright so I used to have a Garmin Nuvi 360 GPS ($350.00 retail) and it started to fail on me so I mailed it back to Garmin to be refurbished and they said they never received it and I do not have tracking information on the package so it is now lost in the mail.

So I was wondering what you guys have for a GPS and what you reccommend I get.. I want to spend between $100-$300 and get something that will actually last this time.

I agree....Garmin is the way to go. I rock a Sony with the Navi-u, and it's pretty good for the most part, but I miss my Garmin:smile:

My GPS is in my Alpine HU. Used it yesterday for the first time. It lowers the music so you can hear the directions (they play thru the speakers). My wife has a Magellen. Its ok.

Garmin nuvi 200 :top:. I don't have the need for all the fancy features so this one is perfect for me.

my GPS situation sucked for a while too.. I bout a 1,500 $ stereo when I got my FJ, eclipse AVN6600, and the damm thing doesn't cover Alaska, which I moved to AK about 4 days after i got my FJ. lol
then for xmas this year i got a nuvi 350, it really does do the job. and the others are right. garmin make a good product, and you proly gotta lemon...
