looks cool. I have a stanless like that, but it was so heavy it was stripping out my shifter. Took it back off and went with the stocker. They do look cool. ties in with the silver rings on the dash and the front tweets. sucks when its cold or hot though. especially hot.

Stripping?

TWM Shift Knobs use a Nylon Threaded Insert designed to fit each specific application. It should not strip the shifter threads.

I have used these before. I like the feel of a weighted shifter knob. However, in the Texas summer, it is unbearably hot.

All Steering Wheels, Shift Knobs, and other interior components get hot to a certain degree (no pun intended).....

However a Sun Shield/Blocker in the Windshield will help. Also, if you take a washcloth or small cloth handtowel and drape it over the shift knob while you are parked, it will help with the heat.

Usually auto parts stores sell threaded inserts. Look in the aisle with all the wrenches and whatnot

Nice knob Wayne. Wait a minute! Is that the dealer paper floor mat still down on the floor in the passenger side? :hmmmm2: If it is, it better be gone by the time you hit 2000 miles. (in about 2023ish):rofl:
