I was at a perf. shop and some guys was telling me that I could throw a BOV on my S/C. I told him I was pretty sure I couldn't. I don't want one but he has me just curious...


Any thoughts. Thanks

I think the URD MKII has a BOV...or something that does the same thing as a BOV...

hopefully DS and/or Gadget chime in...

Can't use it on the TRD blower. We have a bypass actuator. No room for BOV

X2 :top:. You can't use a blowoff valve with the TRD S/c. Tell him to install one in his ass so when he farts it will sound cool and then leave.

I don't know of any roots style blowers that use BOV's, but plenty of centrifical blowers do.

god, i saw those for sale at vatozone and hung my head in shame. i think i saw one installed on a mazda 3 the other day gettin on the 57fwy i saw that metal clamp sticking out the exhaust and i was hoping to god he was gonna gun it passed me so i could laugh my ass off but he didnt so i cant say that it was actually the fake bov but it sure did look like it.

lol @ the fake turbo sounds. it sounds more like a clogged cat than a turbo. i have seen the buck call bov before.
