Well I know dyno #'s don't mean a whole lot but for the hell of it got the truck dynoed today. Got alot of compliments on the truck and everyone was impressed with the numbers, well everyone except me. They weren't bad but I was expecting little better. Dyno dynamics 297hp 310tq. Actually took off the cai cover for the last run and gained 3hp.

That is in the general ball park where I would expect it to be on a dynodynamics dyno.

I had one delivered to the URD shop in Cali and we ran Brian's Tundra on it, ALL DAY LONG. It was the new digital version and there were a lot of bugs in the new software. I had the guy load it back up and haul it away and told him to bring it back once it was fixed. Never heard from him.

Anyway, after he left I ran down to a shop a short distance away and ran it on a DynoJet and the DynoJet was about 35 RWHP more.

You really cannot compare a number from one kind of dyno to another. If you want a number you can compare to other trucks and/or other locations the DynoJet is the best for doing that since it is very consistent and it is what most people use for doing that.

They said it reads about 14% lower than a dyno jet which would put me about 339hp. Whatever the numbers rely are when I stomp the gas I get a huge smile on my face:driver:

Unfortunately those cars can be purchased for under $13k now with low miles.. Add that kinda money in boost to one of them and it's bye bye us unfortunately

If I wanted to build something as fast as i could for as cheep as i could i wouldn't have bought an X bro. It's not my fault those cars depreciated more than my truck did. I've also never seen a 350z or s2000 haul plywood, 2x4, wheels, tires or anything at all for that matter.:top:

You don't have the URD pulley on that thing do you? If not, that is the best bang for the buck you could spend and you will love the boost!

Actually I have an APR 2.85 sitting at my house but I cant put it on cause I'm maxing out my TRD injectors on the stocker. Cant afford new ones right now.

That's my debate right now...s/c on it's way...since I have the X1 stay with the ones they ship me or get the big ones from URD so we can install those while the s/c is going in? Then I'll have to do the fuel pump, which is a good idea anyway but no chance of leaning out.

Decisions .... decisions...
Nice #s though...I hope I get the same when I get my s/c on.
