Is it just me or are tires WAY expensive now...

Has anyone else noticed that tires have like doubled in price? even all the cheap brands are now the same price as what expensive ones used to be... and of course it has to be now when i need new ones. Freakin stupid! What do you guys think... orrr does anyone have sick deals on tires? :top:

Go to tire rack com i bought my tires from them and was cheaper than the dealership.

well pretty much any place on earth is cheaper than the stealership haha... but just in general, seems like tire prices are sky high...

I don't really think the prices are that high, they seem the same as they have been for a few years.... Shop around and look for the best deal.

I have noticed an increase in the cost of mounting/balancing. At the local places here in Maine, they now charge extra if you Don't buy tires from them. To get 4 tires mounted/balanced on my truck it costs me around $85 now a days, used to be like $60.

Check tire rack, discount tire, or even ebay. Many places can get good deals. I got a price for some 17's for a scion tc today and they were $280 each.

tires have gone up alot...I remember back in the day getting BFG AT KO 31x10.5x15 for 99bucks..2years ago when i was looking to get them for my old truck..same size was 140 each
