For whatever reason if your looking at the gap between my front fender and wheel its different on both sides. I got it aligned to make sure everything was legit and it was. So now Im wondering if one of my control arms is messed up or if its something more serious. Im no suspension expert but when i put it up on the lift everything looked fine. Any ideas. Im not dropped yet thats coming springtime so im not so sure what would cause this difference in measurement.

No sir never been wrecked did slam once at a drift comp bent my rear axle and housing but even when I had it looked it right after they said my front was still legit and intact. All impact was in the rear I slammed a divider with my driver side. Im sure that had something to do with it but Im not 100percent. Maybe just shock from impact? I been driving like this for over a year my axle housings still bent but i replaced the axle. Left rear tire is off by 1 degree

It's not uncommon for the driver's side to drop a little, but 2" is a lot.

Get us some pics. It will help a lot.

One from the front of the truck and one of each wheel, showing the ground, wheel, fender in one pic

Have you changed your struts lately? Are you using the bilstein struts? The reason I asked is because I just went thru a big hassle in replacing my struts with monroe, and when I did, the truck did lean on the driver side by 1 inch and I was too able to align to specs, however the ride was horrible. I'm back to bilsteins now and no issues.

Another issue might be that your struts are worn out?

Do you have a drop on the truck? I had the same problem. I have the SOS perch in the front. My drivers side was significantly lower than my passenger side. If you have the SOS drop, you need to take the entire shock mount, and rotate it. Make sure the taller stud coming out of it is towards the back of the truck. Believe it or not, that will fix it! If you don't have a drop, then I don't know.

Well i threw it up on the lift today just to do normal cleanup make sure no rust and all that and one of the sway bar links was shot to sh*t. Whole top half was gone on the driver side. I measured it before i took everything apart it was an inch and 3/8 difference from the passenger side. So i figured if i replace one ill replace both. replacing the bushings too while im at it. And said to myself screw it took the whole bar out and painted it red. I got all the replacement parts today and painted today so hopefully ill get her back together tomorrow with a better verdict. Im still running my stock struts but im at 81000 so ill prob change them out soon. Ill try and post some pics of the sway bar done red but all ill have is crappy phone pics.

Don't forget that your 1st stop after you put it back together should be at an alignment shop! Don't put that off. Also ask them if they see anything else out of the norm...you never know if there's something else you missed that's badly worn or damaged.

Good luck!
