I wanted a big cruiser but also wanted to go fast and never had the room to do it. Now I have my own house and garage so I can have whatever I can affird. If the car costed any more I would not have picked it up but I definately got an awesome deal!

The seats look really nice. Just for a heads up once you get that bad boy rolling you'll realize it doesn't handle like an X or any other vehicle haha. Nice buy and have fun.

That car is awesome. Only difference is that one is a 6 window.. it has the triagle window on the rear doors.

My car has those oh chit handles too but I wanna put tvs there...

That is going to be an awesome car when you get it going. The TV idea is sweet. I think that one in the pic is a fleetwood or something.

I'm stoked abouthaing the car. I'm sure it will be completely different when its got a motor in it and I can drive it though.

Can't wait to pull up next to another rod at a car show and lay it on the rockers. My buddy has a 54 buick that is getting the same treatment this winter. Going to shows together alonng with his moms 65 mustang will be good fun!

just wanted to give a quick update...

I did a little work on the car. Pulled the nasty headliner out of it and the roof is rust free. I also pulled the carpet out of it and found out that the driver floorboard looks like swiss cheese so ill have to replace it.

My father-in-law has a 454ci Big Block Chevy sitting in his garage that hasnt been touched for years. He said that if i come pick it up, i can have it.

That being said, im taking a trip down to SoCal feb 16th to visit and celebrate his 60th bday as well as pick up the motor. He also said his coworker has a TH-350 that i can have if i want it. It has a BBC bellhousing on it right now so it will bolt right up.

I have heard that the TH350 isnt going to hold up to the big block power or the 5500lb car but im going to give it a shot and see what happens.

With any luck, ill get new floor boards in the car before the summer and ill be driving it

Saw one the other day and reminded me of yours.
Glad you're working on it! :top:

I wish I had the time/money to work on my Firebird.
