Got some free liberty/R&R time off the ship and stayed at a resort in Salalah, Oman... a full belly of good food and a wicked hangover. That's the next best thing other than being closer to returning back home from deployment. =)

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas

I got to hang with my family and close friends so that was good. Lucario had already gotten TRD brake pads and a NST crank pulley from my birthday but yesterday I had gotten a new Beltronics sti radar to replace my old passport 8500. pretty good Christmas in my opinion! I hope everyone else had a good one as well.

First and most importantly, I have nearly 2 weeks off work to spend with my family. A big thanks to my bosses for approving the time off so that I can spend some time refreshing and spending time with my wife and kids.

Secondly, I still have a great job and while I consider that a blessing every day, especially here at Christmas I am very thankful for it.

My wife was kind enough to get me:
- A nice new Fossil watch
- The Blues Brothers DVD : )
- BIG DVD
- A new pair of jeans
- Some cozy slippers b/c my office is always so cold

I just got back inside from building a snowman with my kids b/c we were blessed to actually have a white Christmas this year. Pretty rare thing in Central VA.

Hope all of you had a great Christmas with friends and family this year!
