My wife downloads on me every day because of work. She asked if we could live on my pention and my disability income and I told her to give me 48 hrs to get a job and I did find a job driving tractor trailer. Retirement is not for me, I'll drive part time for a few mts and see how it works out. She not sure about working for the big box store. If you can go back to school and get a better job after, go for it.

Ive worked in retail for as long as Ive been working ,and there is one thing that Ive learned retail is a deadend . I dont want to go back. The way I see it is, if I have to work at a place I dont like i might as well get paid well enough to ignore the fact that I dont like it lol. The only way I'm going to get anywhere is with some sort of degree.

Lol have a phone interview with the Scotts Company at the end of the week . It'll probably be a part time or seasonal gig though.

Just got word, My last day is 6/24 so I got a little time. US Bank said we don't need the houston office anymore. Gathered all of us in a room no matter who you were and said this office will be shut down. They fired a few and when they couldn't fine a way to fire the rest of us out right, they just wrote up there own lay off plan. Been doing online aps all morning and on the phone letting them know I'm interested. Hopefully something will come up before I'm tossed out. Been a while since I've had to look for a job, this should be interesting.

lol i know that feeling the whole searching part sucks ,but not as much as starting again from the begining though .
