Mostly the shatty stock brakes. Tiny rotors and calipers up front and drums at the back. No passenger vehicle after 2000 should have drums on it.

I dont care about the drums. It's a sport pickup, no weight in the back usually.

I am with G on this one, there is no one thing but the top for me is the radiant pink, paint chips, the trans, and the tick! Drums look like poop especially this day and age

Tranny, brakes, paint chips and way too much chassis flex. There needs to be a pillar between the front and rear doors although might be a PITA to get big stuff in the rear seats

Trans, Rattles (and the crap interior in general), rear drums, and the crease in the bed side by the fuel door that everyone gets...

A lot of these minor things should have been taken care of for a $26,000 2WD pickup.... I never felt like I got what I paid for while owning the XR.

Was a lot of fun though.

Loose truckish steering. I know it's a truck but a day of tight autocross is a hell of an arm workout.

First thing I noticed - crappy brake pedal feel. Took it back to the stealership & had one of their techs drive it. He said that's the way it was made.

1st thing I noticed on a trip - crappy place to put the "suit hanger clips." Basically if you hang anything up in the back, 45% of your rear vision is obscured. (Hopefully they corrected that for 2009...lol)

1st thing I noticed on a hot sunny day - clutch pedal creaking. It only creaks when it's hot.

1st think I noticed after a couple years of ownership - chips on the rear fenders.
