So I was at the dealership last weekend trying buy a new X and trade in my 05. They couldn't find a 2011 in all of TX and the surrounding states so they suggested I just order a 2012. Apparently when they called Toyota they were told that the X-Runner has been discontinued. They claimed it was due to slow sales. Granted this is coming from a salesman but does anybody have any idea if this is true? I sure as hell hope not. I was looking forward to seeing the redesigned X.

The Toyota salesman I talked to when I started lookin' didn't even KNOW what an XRunner was. He kept tryin' to get me in a PreRunner!

2009 was the last year canada got the runner due to too low of sales like the dealer I bought mine from had a br one that sat there for good year and a half before it sold very few people in canada want a 2wd sport truck cause theyre afraid of driving it in winter:thumbdown:

dude i've seen the 2012 XR in black at one of the dealerships here, that guy is full of crap. I will go by there this weekend and if its still there I"ll snap some pics for you guys, and my wife test drove a TRD Sport and yeah the radio in the new one is friggin tits but still dont think the truck was worth the 34k price tag.
