Hey guys, I'm seeing how sellable a used DJM kit would be on the forums here? I'm lowered on a DJM kit but i'd like to get rid of it and go with OEM X-Runner suspension components. Of course I'd make a trade thread in the classified forum once i get enough posts, but for the mean time, I'm just doing a bit of research. Any input?

Well if you remove the c-Notch in the back you will have to cut off that Joint that is cut into the fram and have a new peiece to weld back in to strengthen the fram i know that much. But i am sure you will get some bited on trying to sell your kit. Be patient.

I think your better to leave the c notch in, cuz taking it out and welding a piace back in might take the temper out of the frame there fore making the metal weaker.
Just my 2 cents

There will be a market for it however keep in mind the DJM kits are readily available from one of our vendors.

Do u need stock A arms as a trade because u don't have any? If so that may make it a bit more difficult to trade with someone because most of us like to keep our stock components so that we don't end up in ur situation(u probably bought ur truck with the DJM kit installed and it didn't come with the stock A arms I bet?).

Also do u know what manufacturer ball joints are on ur A arms?

I do need the stock A-arms. I have no idea who makes the ball joints for my A-arms. I assumed the DJM arms came with them.

OEM X-runner A-arms differ from normal Tacoma arms I'm guessing also?

The A arms are the same on a base or SR5. You should able to buy a set used. Your frame is married to that c noth. Who ever gets the arms will need to order another c notch kit.

I'm in a similar situation myself. I bought my truck with it already sittin sic. It looks good but it really sucks that I don't have any of the stock suspension parts from it. Also I wish I had the stock wheels cuz it's already got 20''s on it. Whoever had it before me even took out the spare. WTF!
