So I just had the most epic experience with your stereotypical ricer, ever. No lie. I'm sitting in my yard cooling off with a beer after washing the x and I hear a loud, high pitched, exhaust coming down the road. Mind you I'm surrounded by rice in my neighborhood, but they are all nice guys, just have riced out Hondas and one guy managed to tell me he has a 4.95 liter v6 in his Pontiac G6. So back to the original story, I hear this guy probably in first gear at 6k or so coming up the street. He comes up the road, I live at the end of a cul de sac, and stops infront of me. Proceeds to rev his primer and black integra to redline three or four times then pulls into my driveway. I smelt the Abercrombie cologne this dude must have bathed in as he opens the door, had his visor on upside down and completely decked out like a frat boy with the plaid shorts. Guy comes up to me and asks about the "low rider" in my driveway. About that point I notice the two matching Honda tats on his fore arms. So I tell him the normal thing we all say when asked what our trucks are, came stock with body kit, xrunner, Tacoma, 4 liter 6 speed, blah blah. He then list off his mods to his 'tegy' and asks me if I was scared to race him yet? WTF?!?! I think he mentions cai and a short shifter. I told this prick I wasn't all that into street racing, more autox and track days, and he proceeds to tell me how his other car, a civic si has won all the autocross events and would be glad to race me there. I said alright man, a few of us xrunner guys are hitting one up the weekend of the 18th, but I don't think we are in the same class. He told me we would be, and asked me what "cat" I ran. When I told him HSP or HStock, depending upon if there is anyone else in HSP, damn cai, he responded that he'd won that class 3 years in a row. Now... Seeing as first off integral are not H stock I didn't want to burst the poor kids bubble so I just told him I'd be excited to see times. And he gets back in his car, pulls out of my driveway and does a burnout down the road. Lots of clutch smoke. Even the owner of the "4.95" liter G6 came over and was saying that guy was an ass. Gotta love St. Louis! Sorry for the long read, but I absolutely had to share this.
