Spent the morning installing an Airaid CAI on my 2012 X-Runner. Lots of 'fabbing and modding' to get it to fit, but it runs like a champ. No CEL (so far) and very nice WOT tone and pull. Butt-dyno says :top:. It's not as loud as I thought it would be, so I can still hear the supercharger scream!:blurock:

Here are a few pics: (More to follow)

Gonna get the wideband AFR sensor bung welded in next week. Looking forward to seeing the numbers. Gonna keep my foot out of it over the weekend till I'm sure. Runs great though. I might swap in the afe stage II now that the air pump has been relocated and I have the space just for giggles after I get my afr gauge hooked up and see the difference.

that mass difference in intake tube diameter and throttle body diameter has to be causing some nasty turbulence in there?

Like I said, now that I've got the air pump moved, I'm going to bolt in the afe stage II I bought used and see the difference. I'll see what my afr gauge says about each before I decide which one to keep.

WOT i think the post 90l recall, TRD re-flashes stop looking at the MAF for fuel control. That's what happened with my truck...:dontknow:

that conversion adapter bit is completely ruining the whole point of such massive tubing...:rolleyez:
