I seriously need to come work where you guys work. Hell, I could take an $11,000 pay cut and make out even.

Military here so all I pay is like 12/mo so wife and kids have dental. Since being in I'd cashed in a laser eye surgery, a nose job, sinus surgery, 2 babies and all my daughters medical problems add up to hefty amount not to mention the prescriptions they give us.

at 1100 a month put in a savings acct you would have 13,200 dollars, do that for 5 years and its 66,000 dollars that isnt just gone.

i know that insurance is there for the big accidents but so is car insurance and ill be honest i think that is a sham as well. ive spent 15,600 dollars on car insurance(give or take 5000) and have never used it and even if i had a small fender bender i wouldnt bother to file a claim.

dude I dont know about car insurance, I had a accident (hit and run) and had some medical come up.

time to start looking for new work  Seriously though Klint I would shop around I know a few guys that are paying about 40% less than what their employer charges by finding their own through Cobra, AFLAC, BCBS etc...

Good ol military

But if you have something you need fixed your going to have to wait. It's socialized health care at its best with the military. Yeah i dont pay a dime, but damn if time isn't waisted wondering wtf is wrong with me in the mean time.

ER docs treat you to make sure you're not dying then release you with some Motrin or Benadryl, with out any Give A S@#$ of why you actually came in. In my case a month and a half later, a case of Dystonia diagnosed. Sometimes i'd fork out some cash to get some proper doctors looking at you!

But nothing over $50, I am single after all lol.
