Any one running this Kenwood head unit

Those kenwoods are alright it's just that the interface on them is a little more confusing and runs much slower than the pioneers.

its very similar to the pioneer avh 4400 but with a few different things. as justin says, the interface is much more confusing and slower. but i also find that it also has more control over the sound than the 4400. but i also found that these extra sound controls, a lot of people dont actually use.

I have a Kenwood DDX-514 and I love it. It came with the truck when I bought it. Which makes it even better for me.

Go with Pioneer. There's a reason why everyone is using the same brand. Kenwood isn't bad, but if you're looking for a DD, Pioneer is definitely the way to go. I just got and installed the AVH-P8400bh. This head unit it by far the BEST one I have ever owned! Can't beat it!

I have this DD, I love it. Interface is fairly straightforward. Definitely a lot more control over the sound. Built in bluetooth is a nice touch.

i had a pioneer premium that was insane! i believe they don't even make a deck of that quality anymore though. i recently was told by a few guys that the new kenwood DD's are hands down the best on the market right now

No ones being a brand rep, just stating our opinions. Which are that pioneer makes probably the best double dins available.

If I don't buy pioneer I buy Sony HUs, I've never owned a Kenwood HU
@justin, but that's not what he wanted to know. Trust me, if he would've asked what majority of us use or something that wasn't "I want to be different", I would have pushed pioneer too.

I did read his whole post, I was actually the first one to comment, and now that he's got his radio, everyone is just throwing out there what they have or like too.

And Im pretty sure you can see I wasn't bashing anyone, just pointing out that in general, the replies were more promoting pioneer then actually addressing his question. Hopefully your not taking this personally.

I didn't say you were bashing anyone, I just said that people like to express their opinions especially about car audio, and there's alot of people here that like pioneers, as well as kenwoods.
Anyway, back on topic, I hope you're enjoying your new radio RRX. Are you having any issues with clearance between the screen and dash kit?
