I am completely shocked and sadden with this news. John was a friend and a great guy. He was always glad to help anyone out, not just with advice, but would offer a helping hand. The first time I met John was at the Jersey mini meet and he offered his help to install my URD CAI. This is when I went to his house and met his wife and kids. He has a wonderful family. Since then I have talked to John here and there. and have been to his house a couple of times to go to meets. Recently this past year I traveled with John to Xfest with his daughter and he let me and my girlfriend stay with him at his parents house in the poconos. This gave me the ability to save enough money to go to Xfest.

RIP John,
you will truely be missed.

John was a very generous person and if you guys can spare some money I am sure his family will be thankful. I know I will be donating money for his family.

This is unreal. It took me a minute to even process that this thread title was actually what it said. John was a great guy. I still remember talking to him when I was going to buy some injectors from him. Definitely a great, tremendously helpful, genuine guy. He will definitely be missed. I still can't believe it.

I am sad to hear this news today. I have never met John in person but I have had a few conversations with him. The last conversation I had with him was about him having to get rid of his truck one day and he did not want to talk about it at that time.

My heart, thoughts, prayers go to is family.

Do we know how he passed?

$50 sent, and my next mod will be in honor of John.

First of, my thought and prayer are with John's family at this most difficult time. This is a shock to all of us that called him a friend. As all have know John meant so much to our community. He will leave a long lasting memory here on XRU and to us all. As a member of the military its never easy to understand and cope with the passing of a brother or sister in arms. This here will be no different for us. However, remembering John for the good times, the laughs, and the awesome person he was is exactly what we all need to understand, cope, and heal.

John, I will miss the good times buddy. The crap u gave me about my mess ups and the laughs we shared. Knowing your are in a better place. May god bless your family and provide support and understanding. We got your back bud!! Until we meet again my friend...... Ketchup out.

Just my thoughts about this years XFEST EAST. I think 2013 Xfest East should be planed around his home town in memory of John. Invite his family out I am sure that is daughter that went last year would love to go. And show the support that community has for one of its good members.

Just a thought.

I am extremely heart broken by this. I never met him in person but during the almost three years on XRU I've seen John go through great changes and give any help he could possibly give. We have all lost a great brother. I am very sad of your passing but will not mourn....only remember the funny posts, helpful info and great times you brought to those close to you that you have shared with our community. rIP John and prayers for your family to be strong through this tough time. RIP brother

Never really had any interaction with John, however I did enjoy reading his insight on things and of course his humor. My most sincere condolences go out to his wife and family. May you rest in peace sir.

Though I don't have my x-runner anymore, I still visit this forum from time to time. It brings back great memories of when I was modifying my truck. I would have to say it was because of great people like John that makes the XRU great. I look back at my messages, and I see John's replies to my many questions. He always had great advice and always seemed to know the answer or what to say... from my questions about lowering my car, to the X-1, and also when I was selling my truck. He not only talked shop, but was very personable. He asked about my family and my interests as well as sharing details about about his wife and children. I can't believe he is gone at such an early age. My condolences to his family. He was a great man and will be sorely missed.
