So if i get one of the 2.85 pulleys it will actually make my AFR fatter? Or is this on 08+?

Quite confused.

IF you were to hypothetically keep fueling the same, and add more boost, it will make the AFR leaner. Since it is increasing the incoming air.

Thats what i was thinking, but in the previous posts on this thread it was said that it actually made it richer?

Or did it just simply not lean it out?

It looks like the TRD reflash is set for 10's @ WOT. Normally you would tune to keep AFR's at 11.5- 11.8, it seems the mods are not maxing out the injectors because you hit 10 momenterily and then they readjust to about 10.5 to 11.1 as the rpm band approaches redline

The leanest I've seen my afr's is 10.2 at WOT at redline. I think trd reflash is just rich for safety. Leaner is meaner, but more dangerous than rich

Not much more rich than a 10:1 and you can start washing out cylinders.

Not true...

OEM calibrations can run the AFR richer than 9:1 in cat saver mode.

Might not be precise, but I said can. Dependant on variables. However, I remember a coversation with Scott where he said that when he used to race his cars, that he liked to have them in the mid 9's AFR.

Also, I just remembered that I have personal experience with my truck running between 8.8-9.5 AFR constantly, when the MAP-Ecu2 went out on me. Aftef removing it and getting things back to stock, it couldn't start. We had to add some oil to each cylinder to get it to start.
