Oh the dealership has them? I had no idea. Thanks bud- Edit: I think I am actually going to give plastidip a shot since there really isn't a down side. Just dont want automatic carwashes blowing it off

carwash shouldn't blow it off, just lay it on thick but not too too thick, watch some youtube vids of people doing wheels and stuff, if you try to spray it like paint it will be blotchy and then come off easier than doing one or 2 heavy coats, Never had a problem with mine, emblem pops out easily if you were to ever need to redo it anyways

I plasti dipped my lower front bumper because of rock chips and haven't had any type of problem with it peeling

if you do just peel it off might as well save the $25

As far as I know there is no factory part number for a black grille emblem. Most dealers that sell the black ones have the dealer body shop spray them black for people looking for the black look

Plastidipped mine a couple months ago and have had no issues with it, it's a paint that is hard to screw up and if you did peel it up and do it again and have my Silverado wheels plastidipped and I take that off road through mud and have washed it many times and still there with no issues!

Just sprayed it a little ago. Gunna put a couple thick coats on and stick her on while I walk to my work van in the morning :)
